Marina Revitalization

The Board received tenders from two contractors for the proposed work at the Marina scheduled for this summer.

Both tenders amounts came in significantly higher than expected and they exceed the amount of our current grant funding.  

Meetings have been conducted with two of our major funders to identify a path forward based on a revised plan from the Board and presented to our funders for feedback.

Based on the Board's decision to explore new approaches and options, the Rossport Marina will be open for operations for the 2025 season with limited slip rentals and transient docking spaces.  There may be a period when the boat launch will not be available.  Please check this page on the website for the latest information and updates.

Work has already commenced to gather the necessary information, project timelines and estimated costs for the options that the Board has identified.
